About Me

I am a mountain and trials unicyclist from the Boston area. I'm a student at the Sudbury Valley School. I like unicycling because it's always a challenge. No matter how much you learn, there is something you can get better at. Because unicycles are direct drive, you have to pedal all the time, and you can never change gears. Basically you don't get any help from the machine. When you're riding offroad, you have to be focused on the trail in front of you every second of the way. If your mind wanders, even the smallest bump can make you fall.  My new favorite thing to do is fly to cool places to unicycle with cool people. I've been to Toronto for the National Unicycle Convention, Seattle for the International Unicycle Convention, Vancouver to ride on the North Shore, and California for the California Mountain Unicycle weekend. I hope to go to events in Minnesota, Vancouver Island, Japan, and possibly Italy and France in the next few years.
